We had a quick weekend trip and really enjoyed our stay at La Jolla Riviera Inn. The location was convenient, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything was well-kept. It was a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the area. The staff made our stay easy and pleasant, and we felt welcomed throughout. We would definitely come back on our next visit to La Jolla.
Great place to stay! Within 5 minutes' walk of the beach and just about anything else you could possibly want - yet, super quiet! We were able to get a good night's sleep without any trouble from noise outside. Rooms are comfortable and RIDICULOUSLY spacious - you've basically got a whole apartment with kitchen, living room, and all. Plus, everything was spotlessly clean! Ample parking. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the manager was just the friendliest. She had great recommendations for places to go/things to do. We would 100% stay here again, and definitely for longer next time! This is a great place to relax and unwind. :)
The photos do not do justice to this property. Its so close to the beach and the restaurants. The rooms are super spacious and the area is upscale and safe. Highly recommended.
It’s not a five star super hotel, but rather unique affordable place to stay in La Jolla, 2-3 times cheaper than anything around including short term rentals and hotels. Before booking, please consider what is more important: 2-3 min walk to the beach and restaurant and cafe or updated interior. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel, so car is not must have there. Moreover, a hotel outdoor area looks like a boutique place with all these flowers and succulents carefully maintained by a flower lady. Without that it would be just a cheap place to stay, but not return. Thank you so much for your hospitality, ladies!
Front desk is very helpful. And I enjoyed the spacious room, the fan and the heater worked very well
The hotel it self was nice, I really liked it it was very homelike. It gives very old vibes, but it was clean, instructions were clear, fridge worked. Even though I stayed here for only one night. Lobby was a bit hard to find I think I would put more signs (cause I arrived at night and could see anything)
The manager Debbie & the workers are very friendly. The place is super convenient, walking distance to La Jolla Shore. The room is super roomy, with kitchen, and the bed is comfortable. It is quiet at night. We found the place from website. Our first time experience of our getaway trip is excellent. We will go there again for our next anniversary or vacation.
This is a mostly long term stay Inn. Its location is perfect for access to La Jolla Shores beach, surfing, and small neighborhood shops where you can rent kayaks etc. I get an efficiency apartment so I can take care of my own breakfast, but eat dinner at one of the excellent neighborhood restaurants. I stay here while I’m visiting family who live in the area for just one week. The Manager is efficient and will give you more housekeeping if you want it! There is dedicated parking with a small up-charge.
